I am so pleased with my ball pythons right now. I moved all of them into Iris CB-70 racks in the late winter and then in June I changed them from Aspen to an orchid bark substrate- jungle bedding type stuff. My pied just had a completely full shed that came off all in one piece!! When we first got her from Petsmart she was super skinny. They were feeding her fuzzy mice as a yearling. She was so thin. Now she is three years old and she is filled out, her colors are gorgeous and she's eating small adult rats!!
My albino who I got in April was refusing f/t food. I had been feeding him live, but he finally took a f/t rat last night after I Zombie Rat danced until my knees ached from kneeling next to his rack. So I am very pleased about that because it's one less trip to the reptile store I have to make!
The rest of BP's are also doing really well in the racks. I still have two rack slots open, so I am going to have to consider what morphs I want to fill those slots. I think of all my snakes, my BP's may be my favorites.
