I don't know how much he weighs.

And bigger food?! I've never heard of a male BP being fed more than a small, a medium looks waay too big for him.

The rat leaves a slight bump and it doesn't take him long to eat it either.

you need to get a weight on him. weight is a key method to indicate health as well we helping choose the right size feeders.

you are correct: a typical adult male beep won't ever need a medium rat. Yellow takes small rats and they don't really leave a bump in him anymore either, though he doesn't roam and act like he's starving 5 days later.
