Yep. Do the exact thing that you suspected to do, thread the wire through the plug and clip it shut. You may need a pair of pliers or channel locks to clip it fully closed. Also the little white caps are for the two holes in the panel itself where the mounting hardware is fed through into the ceiling of the cage.Originally Posted by MissterDog
So I've assembled my AP cage where Animal Plastics installed my RHP for me from Pro Products, but it seems I need to do the wiring myself. I didn't get any instructions for it sent to me and I'm not sure how to approach this. Can anyone explain or link me to instructions on how to attach the wire to plug?
From what I understand is it that I have to thread the cable through black metal bracket into plug? Then close the plug so the metal spikes pierce the cable casing and make contact with interior wire? Is that correct?
