Help speculate what morph she is?
I waa given this BP by a friend of a friend of a friend who was moving and could not take the snake with him. I was told she is a Desert Ball Python but after looking at some pics of Deserts I have sone doubts. Any guesses?

Definitely pastel, maybe with a lightening gene. Desert is is a possibility. There are some on here working with lightening morphs. Hopefully they will chime in.

It's the million dollar question as many animals can look similar the only 100% is that there is Pastel + something else (to clean to be a pastel alone) the rest who knows????
And if there is a chance or should I say risk that there is desert in this animal you will never know since the animal should never be bred.

Yes, I think she has too much blushing and her yellows are too bright to be just a plain pastel. I've looked at desert pastels and they actually look pretty similar. Excuse my ignorance, but why should she never be bred?

Desert females have never successfully produced a clutch. They get egg bound. The only solution to a pregnant desert ball is surgery or death. The people that have them only breed the males. Females are sold as "pet only".
