vacation...
I have to say, it is very nice to be spending time with my girlfriend and my family at the beach house in Maine. Not having to work is fantastic.
However...I miss my animals. It is really weird to wake up and NOT do my morning rounds checking on my animals. I miss my snakes darn it!!!
Hahaha, I really shouldn't be complaining, it's absolutely beautiful here. Watching the sun come up over the marsh and the ocean is breathtaking, and I absolutely LOVE my family. I even got to keep my neice a few extra days after my brother and his wife headed home.
...but, alas, it will be nice to be home with my beloved pets...

I haven't taken a vacation in a number of years for health and work reasons. I was planning a solo trip later this year and the thought of leaving everyone for less than a week was stressful. I don't know what I'm going to do when I go to California next spring for my tattoo sleeve.

This was my first vaca in 4 years and second vaca in 9-10 years. I need to do this more often
