DH Lavender Snow clutch... Thoughts?
Hello all,
This is our second year trying for the lavender Snow. Last year we had a Lavender and an axanthic in the same clutch, but missed the snow (below).

This year, out of 5 eggs we hit 2 lavenders, 2 normals, and this really light Lavender? Or did we actually hit the snow? I always thought lavenders were high contrast by nature, so it's leaving me hopeful.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this. I know morph coloration can vary quite a bit, so I'm not exactly sure what to think here.

You need to wait till they shed once before you can be really sure of their morph when the differences are so slight. A shed or two will...uh...shed some light on if this is a snow or not.

I sure hope so! It's just so different from any other Lav I have seen. My gut is telling me it's a snow, but I don't want to get my hopes up...

I agree... a few sheds will hopefully tell me what it is. Fingers crossed!
