    Re: Tiny Hatchling

Gonna try to keep this updated. It always annoys me a bit when threads end with no conclusion. After three failed live, then assist feeding the next day attempts, she finally took her first live mouse fuzzy!

She hatched at 18g, then moved up to about 19g, I'm assuming from water weight. After her meal she moved up to a whopping 22g, haha.

Best of luck with her. Even if she ends up runty and possibly unbreedable as an adult, I'm sure someone out there will love her as-is.

Love that little gal it's good to hear she ate on her own. Also hats off to Deb for always being Jonny on the spot (I just woke up and couldn't think of the feminine version of the name Jonny.)

How often are you trying to feed her? Should be more frequently than weekly...

Every 5 days with live. So that means she ate on the 5th live attempt, not 4th.

    Update 2:

She has eaten every week, so far, after her first meal! She is 38g and growing fast! It did take her over a month to shed. I'm chalking that up to her not having grown enough in the beginning since there was almost no told absorption.
