Kenneth's Progression Thread!!! (Male Spider BP)

I got my son from the Cleveland Reptile Show this morning and I'm super happy!! He's 3 months old and seems pretty freaked out by me. So far he's just been exploring his tank and being cute. I don't know how much he weighs but I plan on feeding him an adult mouse once a week on Tuesdays. Here's some pics of him

HE ATE!!!! When i got home from school I put the mouse in a plastic baggie and into a jar with warm tap water. After a little more than an hour I got the mouse out to feed him. I shook it around a bit and when he poked his head out I tapped the nose of the mouse to his nose and his grabbed it. I'm so proud of my little boy. I was worried because 1. the mouse was wet and 2. he's new but it all worked out in the end. I snapped one sideways photo when he grabbed it: A little bedding got stuck to his food but I'm don't think it'll cause any problems (Forest Floor by ZooMed)

HE ATE AGAIN!!!! He struck twice and missed but eventually he got it. Again, I'm very proud of my lil boi. His eyes are also turning blue so I'm gonna make sure to spray his enclosure more often. I think he grew but I have no scale so idk.

Just ensure that you increase the humidity by upping spraying or whatever especially for the days AFTER the eyes clear and the snake regains its normal colouration.... that's the crucial time .

I'M SO PROUD OF MY LIL BOY. I wasn't at my house for a few days for vacation and i was worried the humidity was too low but i came back today and he shed!! It was not in one piece but there was no stuck shed i could detect. I held him for a bit and he's still a little scared of me but he's a lot less scared then before. He stays in a ball but isn't rigid like he used to be. Here's a pic of me holding him he tucked himself in a bit when i pulled out my phone. He also pooped!!
