    I did not recommend 100 cm high cage for everybody. I did it because i had the space for it, and its not a waste. I just shared my experience. If you are keeping the snake in tubes that is another issue. I find that less than 50 cm enclosure height "tank not tube" for an adult is small, specially if the floor space of the enclosure was not sufficient
