your better off using something made of plastic like the hides from reptile basics. It will be easier to clean and hold the humidity better than the cardboard. After excess water or feces get on the cardboard its going to start smelling and you'll have to replace it. Tape always finds a way to get stuck on reptiles and is not a good idea to put anything with tape inside the enclosure.
