Experience with Genetic wizard?
Hi, I'm new to breeding, and have been trying to plan out what I want to breed, what I want to hold back of possible babies, etc. I've been googling the babies it's been giving me, and some babies I can't find pictures of (like a Banana pewter piebald). Is it giving me fake combinations or is it just that the internet can't find pictures for some reason? Please help haha

Um... not every snake has been produced. There are offspring which do not have images.
Remove piebald from your searches, it's not hard to guess what a morph will look like when you add piebald to it. There are pewter bananas, though.
So, yeah, don't get your hopes up that everything already exists, because they don't. There are almost 300 base morphs (counting lines), which means there are about 8 billion 4 gene combinations. Only a few thousand designer morphs exist.
Ball Pythons 1.1 Lesser, Pastel
1.0 Lesser Pastel, 0.0.7 mixed babies

Some animals can be yet to be produced and some might not have any pictures available, because an animal has been produced does not mean someone has submitted pictures for it.

Okay, thank you! I was trying to look them up to see what people have been selling them for and guesstimate if i wanted to go with those morphs or better ones for a better profit. I guess we'll see what happens when I get there! Thanks so much for the reply!

I highly suggest you focus on what there is a market for and if there is even a market that is accessible to you. What is selling now may not be what is selling tomorrow and odds are it will be selling for less tomorrow than it is today. Without significant investment capital it will be years until you see a profit if ever.

My advice to you don't get over excited over what your hatchlings will sell for.
You are new to breeding, a lot of thing can happen, first because you put 2 snakes together does not mean they will breed, than there are possible slugs, bad odds etc.... and price today are not the price you will get in 1, 2 or 3 years. Learn get some serious hands on experience, build a reputation and enjoy the possibilities.
If your first thought being new to breeding are "better profit" you could be very disappointed.

Oh, you want the profit margin on it...
Okay, while that isn't really a popular topic of conversation here, lemme actually help you with that:
How to calculate the Pied cost of a morph: Find the morph without pied, figure out how much it costs. Find other morphs in the same price range which do have pied counterparts. There is your pricetag for the pied version. Multiply the cost by about .8^n to represent how much the snake's value is in n years, it's somewhat realistic and based on my lesser going from 400 in '09 to 50 in '17
Ball Pythons 1.1 Lesser, Pastel
1.0 Lesser Pastel, 0.0.7 mixed babies

I dont want to sell to make like an actual profit, that I dont really care about. I just mean like a better profit to cover the cost of food and shipping the snakes to new homes, etc

Usually an add on that the buyer pays.
Breed for what YOU want, not what is hot today because it might not be tomorrow.
