    Re: Humidity keeps dropping

    I live in a desert climate. I place a moist towel over the half the screen lid of my ball python's terrarium and that seems to help keep the humidity pretty steady. Between 50% and 60%. I only have to mist the terrarium once a day. I also avoid using heat lamps, unless the ambient temperature drops. I use an under tank heater with a thermometer control. It seems to be working very well. I hope that helps. Good luck.
