You know, after typing that, i thought, i just ordered 3 AP T25s and a stand for about $2000. I could have bought a pied retic even at Bob Clark prices . Oh well, Caesar, Rosey and Vicky will be very happy to have bigger cages....or they better be at least haha.

I'm looking at getting a rack from animal plastics. Just haven't gotten around to it yet, my makeshift one will do until I get it... probably this next bonus check lol. I can't wait for the prices on phantoms to come down I want to make orange glow tiger phantoms. I just think that would be a gorgeous snake

Yeah i thought about breeding but i would be crushed if one of my girls had a complication and died. I'll just keep them as happy pets

And i needed bigger cages for Caesar and Rosey for sure. Vicky is fine in the T10 really but i just said screw it. That way i get them 3 in the T25s and then can move Luna, Gina and Rango into the T10s which they should be good in there for a few years and then stack in Dottie's T8 on top of the T10s. That will make the 3 T25s about 1 inch shorter than the the 3 T10s and 1 T8. Then I'll have 2 T8s as extra cages.

Sauzo, you will be so pleased with the T-25s.

As you know I made the leap this past Summer and Fall and I have no regrets and better yet; no more guilt about my snakes being semi-cramped up. Total piece of mind, no more guilty thoughts tugging in the back of my brain when I'm in the snake room. Plus I doubled down on Herpstats because I use both belly heat and RHPs. I'm so glad I spent the bucks.

OP - beautiful Retic, Wild types are my favorite.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
    Mack The Knife, 2013
    Lizzy, 2010
    Etta, 2013
    1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
    Esmarelda , 2014
    Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017

Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

Thank you she is a pretty girl 😊 I can't wait to get some size on her. How has your experience been with the AP cages? Are they pretty easy to assemble and keep clean?

The APs are definitively easy to assemble. They have installation instructions that are written in easy to understand layman's English.

They are easier to clean than my Boaphile which seems to absorb urates. And they seem to be as easy to clean as my old BoaMaster melamine cage.

I have already reordered once, and am now trying to decide which AP to get next.

To the OP: Great pick-up! I swear, with most snakes and especially retics, "Normal" just doesn't do them any justice at all. Plus going through Bob, you know you've got a top quality animal regardless of great looks.

To the Animal Plastics sales team (lol): Man, you guys are tear me apart when i finish Irwin's melamine palace this summer, unfortunately boards, screws, and glue are more within my budget right now, plus i want to sock away some $ for a herpstat. I figure if i'm gonna splurge on something it should be the thing that keeps me from cooking my pets.
    1.0 Central American BI: Irwin

1.0 green albino, het granite Burm: Dr. Waffles
    1.0 Betta fish: Convertible
1.1 cats: Tipitina (Tipi) and Professor Longhair (Fess)

I know you've got the color changing LEDs in your cages like mine, what size LEDs do you have? 3528 or 5050? I've got 3528 in my T8s but I'm wondering if they're bright enough to light a t25 that I'm waiting on. I may have AP cut a 10mm channel and go with the 5050 LEDs. Just don't want a super dimly lit huge cage.
Also to the OP, that is one hell of a nice looking snake. I really dig the fused/connected saddles along her back!

Yeah, they should have plenty of room with the loaded T25s. Plus the jumbo RBI hides i have laying around should fit in them too.

And yeah i picked up a Herpstat 6 a few weeks ago. Sold my Herpstats 2 normal and redline and my Herpstat 1 normal. Thinking of picking up a Herpstat 4 or another 6 later as I'll have 9 cages but only 7 snakes

Been also trying to sell my Pro-Line cage 4x2 with Pro Products RHP for $130 and for the love of me, I'm not getting any bites. Everyone wants AP cages haha.

    Nice looking AP arboreal cage.
