congrats on a rat feed, and yes stick with rats from now on as those mice would have been too small.
also I cannot tell specifically from the pictures but does she have a retained eye cap or is she in blue?

Well she started about 3-4 days after we got her. Gave her a week to get what she can on her own but finally a broke down a got her a tub to soak in for a while and managed to get most of her body off but her head. She still has both eye caps and a chunk on top of her head.

I know, the wife and I can't stop laughing about it.
It really helps break down the barrier of the snake negative creepy vibe most people get and builds character for my wife and kids to see that their not at all in anyway dangerous.

Re: Lazy Layla tricked me!
Lol it actually was the Wife laughing, it's her video of it on Snapchat. Then ya my daughter "what kind of strike was that??". My 6yr old son wants to hold her sooo bad, but I'm holding off for a little bit longer to let Layla settle in more and get used to their smell

Make sure you get that humidity up. She has some stuck eye caps and even though they go mostly by heat/scent that never helps with striking accuracy. The more appropriate sized food will definitely help her get some weight on. In the future if it's not eating without hesitation I'd try to make feedings less of a spectator event. Some of mine are more shy than others and prefer eating when left alone in the dark at night. Congrats on the new baby.
