Was the smell that of decaying flesh? The one that smells like soy sauce/fermentation? Or was it worse? I recently had my fiancee notice that the bedroom smelled, and when I got a wiff I knew it was the smell of rotting flesh, my savannah hadn't eaten its rodent and it was putrid from a day of waiting to be eaten (I tried thawing it in the enclosure, mistake). Apparently the crickets had gotten to it though.
