Thank you Marzipan. And yes it looked a lot like that. When I opened the top, he could see me coming. He braced on three sides of the tank and took a s position. I was like, damn it's on. He came out no problem. Got a little rowdy in the holding tank, and chilled. He also released some bodily fluids while thrashing or right before. Once it was over and he settled a bit more, I gave him a once over, and let him roam around for a few minutes. After he went back in his freshly cleaned tank, pushed his hide around for a few and is now balled up like nothing happened. I have also found sperm plugs in their tanks recently, like in the last months or so. He was really making some noise banging around, got my attention fast.

I've had them all stop eating in the last month or so (except for one new guy). My Honeybee broke out of his fast about 10 days ago, ate and went into shed. I seen him act up if he's put into another tank that was holding a different snake, I always suspected it was because he could smell the other one that was previously in there. But yeah, never seen him like this crazy before. He also released some bodily fluids, my daughter commented they were "musky". I unfortunately have a cold, but she knows first hand about being "musked", lol. It only lasted a short while before I went in and grabbed him.
hey I'm in Elgin. I wonder if it was weather related. It was the weirdest I have seen any of my snakes act. I'm hoping that's the last of it. I just checked him and he is moving around a bit but not like the nut he was last night. He was banging the sides of the tub, knowing everything all
over the place and was generally acting really aggressive. When I put him back in his tub it continued. Was was fine for two days with the female I had in with him
and even locked up. Just makes me think if your seeing a male do it also it might be pressure related or something. Are you going to the tinley park show?

Well, I can't thank my fellow Chicagoans enough for sharing. My wife and I wondered the same thing, maybe he was late to the party cause of the shed. All my boys were definitely more active last night, that's for sure. In all seriousness though, thanks a lot again. I've checked him twice today, so far, so good.

Yes I'm definitely going to tinley, I get my feeders from perfect prey. I always thought they were pretty good quality.
