i think they are implying that "That Guy" is the wierdo and how it detracts from attracting a partner.

well imo improper care of a python is a definite turn-off for me.
however i think it all comes down to the ignorance most people have about snakes. when i first learned you could have a pet snake i was like "whaaaat? google!" it seems like everyone else goes "OMG EW UR GUNA DIE!"

Maybe a thread listing all the celebs who own snakes would be interesting ..... I'm willing to scour the Internet and upload photos ...
