    That's called sublimation. Boas do it more so than BPs. I've never read about the reason why. My guess is that they are trying to stay in check with an anchor point, especially if it is moving. Kind of like how we airplane wing our arms trying to keep balance on a beam.
    The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
