I'm with Sully on this one. I am a clean freak with my animals. My snake room is like an operating room. I use vinegar instead of F10. All my animals are on paper. I think those that keep animals on other things may not realize how often these guys can go sometimes. Especially babies. My animals that are younger than a year may have liquid urates as often as three times a week. It takes approximately 2 minutes to clean a tub kept like this unless the animal has decided to do a little painting. I do water anytime I clean and always once a week regardless. My main weekly cleaning is generally right after I have finished feeding. I do not like the smell of rat and I refuse to let any blood or any other rat fluids linger in the tubs.
