welcome to the forum! it comes down to what you're looking for in a pet.
ball pythons: more heavy-bodied, slow-going, easy to handle, require a bit more husbandry care than a corn.
corns: slim snakes, curious cruisers when handling and faster-moving, fairly simple husbandry requirements.
i'm sure others will chime in with more detail than i provided, but all-in-all it comes down to what you're looking for. so the question is: what are you looking for?
