Patience (winter is almost over), and spot-on husbandry, which seems to need a little work with stuck shed.

Mine went 8 months last year, and looking to do it again (adult, though).

Same ... I had one go 9 months once and I'm sure that the recurs for fasting is around 21 months ( by a Royal ) ..
