I am not completely sold on the mesh top and plastic bracing with a heat lamp with the Zilla. I would greatly appreciate any insight into which is better and why. Those are the only two options I am interested in right now.

i would definitely go with the glass enclosure over the critter cage, no question. start reading on how to set up the glass enclosure here: How to Set Up a Glass Enclosure. it lists supplies needed and step-by-step pictures on how everything goes together. read through it and ask any questions you still have.
