Yep. They go out of blue and look normal and then shed very soon after.

    Re: First shed with me

If she was in blue and her eyes were all cloudy and now they look clear again, then she is very close to actually shedding the skin. Mine fooled me a few times by getting very dull and cloudy then less so about 24-48 before actually shedding. Just keep the humidity up and check her hides once a day, mine always sheds in the hide leaves the old skin all crumpled up and usually a nice big BM - then switches to a different hide. If she is staying in one spot throughout this whole process then suddenly you see her somewhere else, check the vacated hide for sheds and stool
No cage is too large - nature is the best template - a snoot can't be booped too much

I'm laughing out loud while reading this.

My girl just shed Sunday but there wasn't a poop - ok cool I thought - got home from work yesterday morning and she was in the cool hide (rare) and there was the tootsie roll waiting for me in the warm hide. As soon as I cleaned it up and handled her for a few minutes she went straight for the warm hide.

So happy I could get that cleaned up for you I said as she made herself comfortable. LOL

    Re: First shed with me

Man I just want to thank everyone and this forum for providing the information and experience of keeping ball pythons.

I got home about 20 Minutes ago. Lifted up Cleo's hide to check on her and voilą, she finally shed!! Wasn't in one piece but it all came off. I'm assuming she did it in her hide because that's where it was. So happy that I know my temp and humidity are good enough for this to happen. Still waiting on that poop though lol she has like 3 mice in her.
