    The "gateway" snake.

My son's royal is not that old, coming up on 6 years but it is our oldest by 1 year.

Many of us started with one of these. From this girl, I went from not interested, to getting 3 snakes of my own.

I'm sure she'll live a long, healthy life!

I wish the best for all the old timers here!

I call her an elder, but actually my other snakes are just babies PFFT.

I think her tail looks like candy.

My first snake! Added in 2006, not sure of exact age as he wasn't a hatchling.

I don't have photos handy, but my corn snake that died last year was 19. I'd gotten him as a hatchling when I was a teenager.

I don't think mine has been born yet.

It's really cool seeing these old snakes and knowing that I'll be growing old with mine when I do get them.

I'm sorry for your loss @Coluber42. I know that it's gotta be hard losing a pet that you had for more than half your life.

    Re: Oldest snake you have

I've only just realised that at 58 , very soon to be 59 that some of my snakes may actually outlive me if things go pear-shaped in the health department

I'm aiming to reach 100 though so I should be fine
