And the embarrassing conclusion to the weight issue here- I think he hit tare on my scale in the first place and I just didn't notice (it's a touch sensitive scale). 😅

(He's 287g for those with poor vision.)

Is that more normal/something I don't have to worry about? Thanks a bunch everyone for your comments.

I just need to find a better way to keep in humidity, I think my heat lamp dries out the cypress mulch extra fast. (I have tin foil covering the lid and everything though).
I'd say thats Better hahhahhaha. My male is 6.5 months 250G and the older they get the slower they grow.

Hmm... maybe I'll try a bit of a more frequent feeding schedule (every 5 days) and see what happens! He's not fat at all so it shouldn't do any harm (but I don't feel comfortable with the idea of getting him to try multiples in a row- I think he'd regurgitate).

I couldn't fatten up my BP if I wanted to. She pretty much regulates her own food intake lol. Now my boas, retic and dumerils, those little fatties will all eat themselves into a food coma and ask for seconds...thirds...fourth...and so on lol.

Yup I think thats smart... I would never shock their system by feeding several like that at one time especially if they were under weight or weren't eating correctly before I had them ect.. ..
Your on track and he sounds healthy
