For sure!! I'm really looking forward to that personality everyone says they have, I'm just going to be patient and wait until I can check out all my options.

I may get a boa someday. Now that I'm breeding my own rats I have tons of food, plenty for a few more snakes LOL. That's a great looking pied, I actually went to my first NARBC and was just going to look around and bought my first pair of pieds. Ever since then I've been hooked. I'm always on the hunt for a pied with a new gene in the mix, I actually started with three normal pieds, then expanded to other genes + pied. Should get some cool pied combos someday.
Haha retic is too much for me, even a dwarf. I'm in for the boas for the slightly larger size and mellow personality.
Pieds were always a dream of mine, in my opinion the best ball morph, specially since I'm sure we have not seen the best of it yet, as more genes are mixed with it like you are trying to do!

That's what I said too....I'm up to 6 now and planning to add 2 more lol. You'll realize, after 2, adding another really doesn't change much in the routine lol.

Retics are awesome. Just get a superdwarf dwarf. A plain dwarf still has the potential to get big from what I've heard. Superdwarf, you are looking at around 10' which is a couple feet longer than a big female boa. Get a male superdwarf if you do. Also make sure you get one from a reputable breeder or you could end up being screwed with a not true superdwarf. I advise either Kris at Vital Exotics where Gio and I got our guys or Daniel Solis where Jmcrook got his girl at. Also find out the temperament of the snake. You want one that is relaxed.
Once your retic settles in, they are nothing like BPs. Caesar is always out just laying around lol. Heck my boas more or less lounge around too. Only one who isn't out in the day is Dottie but she is out at night destroying stuff lol. Heres Caesar doing the second best thing he does.....laying around lol.

Thanks. The substrate is ReptiChips aka Coco Husk. The water bowl is a dog bowl from Tractor Supply Company. They work awesome for my snakes. Allows them to sit in it or on top of it.

Lol too bad I don't have a cage (or snake) for a bowl so large. Might get a retic just to excuse the bow 😅 lol
I'll look into that, I've been playing with substrate a little. I like reptibark but it's crazy expensive (considering how much I would need). Right now I'm using a homemade blend of cypress mulch and aspen. I just really really hate aspen and want to move away from it.
