Is the faded head a desirable trait for breeders or one they have to accept ??
I can only speak to my appeal. I prefer a washed out head. I think it looks cool. It's usually a way to help identify super pastel in a lot of combo morphs.

It seems to interact differently with lighter morphs than darker ones. I love what it does with fire, but i was not the first to put it to that. I put it to lesser last season and was the first to do that. I got a super pastel lesser turbo that i love and a pair of superflies.

Wow! I really like that lesser? (I'm assuming the second one is lesser because of the stripe) Maybe it's the lighting but I can't believe how blushed out the animal in that last picture is compared to the first (assuming they are the same).

Re: The Sun is Shinning
Yes she is extremely blushed out. There seems to be a bit of diversity in the way it interacts with super pastel imo. I'm planning the same pairing this year so hopefully I'll get another super pastel lesser turbo to compare the two. We'll see

Looking good! I wonder if you put vanilla and/or desert ghost into that animal if you could get an animal with no head pattern.
