Yeah I expect a full write up about how well these monster cages are and I want pictures!! I personally don't know anyone who has one so Gio is going to be the forum guinea pig for them!! On a different note, I did get confirmation for my AP stand today and it wont take 13 weeks!!! Ali told me they can ship it out this week, so next week I will be posting new pictures of my AP cages once I get them all set up

I'm really torn still. I would spec an AP cage to go 6 feet x 30" deep and 24 tall.

I like the fact that I'd assemble it here and I could put everything where I want it. Plus the AP units look great.

Monster has similar looking cages as well.

Monster is pre built but I'm sure I could drive down and spec it with Matt.

I have a lot of time as my guy won't be big/big for a while.

Well if you live close to Monster Cages, drive there and check out some examples. I mean you are going to save a ton on shipping. I know a T25 shipped to me is going to be $229. You live a lot closer to Iowa though than I do so it probably will be cheaper but still. The only cage company I got close to me is Constrictor NW but honestly those cages just don't do it for me. I love the AP cages although the idea of a 1 piece cage is pretty sweet sounding. No sealing or resealing. I would just be scared of sag especially in a 72x30 if they don't have a center brace like the AP cages do.

No sag in Monster Cages. The ceiling actually has braces in it and you can stand on top of them. I saw a thread here about an AP cage with possible sag. I was a bit surprised and am skeptical that is the case, but it was involving a RHP not fitting to the ceiling properly.

I'm looking at around $500 for the Monster so I'll likely visit him again. I've been to the facility once already.

I do like the AP look though, however my Pro-Lines are pretty unbeatable as well.

Yeah, see a T25 with sliding glass doors, lock, shelf, flexwatt, and LED installed with shipping is going to run me about $770. A bare T25 with shipping will run me $628 but I prefer more of a plug and play cage lol.

Your current cages look great IMO.

I agree though after that $500 mark it gets a bit silly.

Amen brutha!! And I need 3 of them Good thing though is I really only need 1 soon for Rosey. Vicky and Caesar got time so hopefully the sting will be less if I order them in intervals instead of all at once lol.

Re: Feed in the new cage.

I prefer the "bandaid approach"... RIGHT OFF ALL AT ONCE! Then it feels like less of a Sisyphusian task to me but that's my two cents. To be fair I haven't had to take that approach with 3 $6-700 cages. Wish I had gone the slow and steady route moving my two scaly kids into new apartments with the recent upgrade this summer, seeing how Phyllis is growing like it's a full time job lol

You mean 3 $770 cages. I wont lie, I don't have $2310+$43 more for a stand to throw down at once lol. So I will have to take the bandaid approach on them haha. And yeah i'm lucky, Vicky is a slow grower and it looks like Caesar is mellowing out on the food. He isn't nearly as crazy for food as when I got him haha.

Yeah sorry I didn't mean to undershoot the investment of your cages. I just meant that when I'm in the position to I like to do all upgrades at the same time. I also only have two snakes to care for so that plays a big part in my decision making... until I get another one some day. The guy I got my first snake from 21 years ago just got two proven breeding pairs of GTP. Dream. Snake.
And sorry to inadvertently derail your thread Gio. I get a little off track from time to time
