Sure, let me just go shake that money tree a bit, LOL.

Let me tell you ...my absolute Dream snake (at least for this week) is the Desert Ghost Lemonblast Yellowbelly Sugar female I found. ....droooooooooooooooool.

You don't like the first one ?

And yes, they are all from the same breeder that I got my girl from.

I need to decide soon, or wait until next year. The temps are getting colder...

    *Trigger warning*

I'm not a huge fan of pinstripes TBH. They look really good in some morphs, I love the really busy combos like clown and trick. Now that I've double checked they actually look pretty good with desert ghost too but personally if I were to choose out of those four I'd be much more inclined to get the others over it. Plus it's probably the most expensive lol

I'll have to look up that combo you mentioned. Now that's a mouthful!

See...and I like the pinstripes. But only as Killer Blast and up. LOL.
I do have a Killer Blast.

I actually like the combos with the Pins, but again, only the "up there" ones.

Aside from them, I like the really crazy busy patterns, with a TON of contrast and color. But my main thing is, I like morphs that help the animal to keep the good looks into adulthood.

I do like Clown combos, leopards, busy yellowbelly combos, etc. But I'm trying to get a Desert Ghost male for the female I have. But also one that will pair nicely with the other females I have. Those of course will only produce Desert Ghost hets. But with the male also having Lemonblast and Enchi, it would mesh nicely with my Bumblebee, Pastel Lesser and Pastel Enchi.

Gosh, I said breeding wasn't going to be my top priority and I just want beautiful animals, LOL. And here I go.
But yes, that snake has to be one I love visually...and it has to be a Desert Ghost something male

That female Lemon Blast Sugar Yellowbelly Desert Ghost Ball Python is stunning to me. Since I also like Calico and Sugar. But yeah, she is a wee bit out of price range.

It sounds to me like you already know the answer lol, yeah based off of your animals I wouldn't get the spider. Omitting the yellowbelly you might as well get the pin for that extra potential.

    LOL.

It does help to get insight from other people, though..

After mulling this over and over in my head I have come to a decision.

    I will wait another year.

The little Pastel Desert Ghost female has some growing up to do before even thinking of breeding her.

So even if I get a Desert Ghost "some other genes" male NEXT season, he will have plenty of time to grow up to breeding size before the female is old/big enough.
And this way I might have a bigger selection or even more of an idea of what I really want. If nothing else, I will buy a male just like the one I like now. Hopefully he will have more next year.

This season is my first attempt at breeding. All my adults are 6 years old. I'm pairing the Killer Blast with the Bumble Bee. If things work out I can use the Killer Blast and breed one or all of the other adult females next year (Bumblebee, Pastel Lesser, Pastel Enchi)

But the Pastel Desert Ghost female will definitely be bred to another Desert Ghost male, when she is ready... I simply love the DG combos, I love how they look great as adults.

All are good options, but breed for what you want to produce. It all comes down to what you like, you'll be the one caring for the offspring and potentially holding some back.
