I thought you said he has six weeks to pay the animal off? That means he still has another 2 weeks to really contact you about paying the animal off.

Six weeks from 9/12 was 10/24. The buyer is more than a month behind, has only paid half, and has not responded to the seller's attempts to make contact. If the buyer were still in communication that would be different.

Also the fact that the buyer may have flipped the snake even before receiving it is not the OP's problem.
