Disposing of Soiled Bedding?
How do you get rid of the soiled bedding? I live in an apartment, and we don't have an outdoor trash can. Any other ways besides the indoor one (because that would then make my living area smell bad)?
the snake is on paper towels.

As far as I know, paper towels are flushable... but I always just put them in a plastic bag and take them outside to the trash cans.

I would NOT flush paper towels. That is asking for trouble.
If it were me in a apartment I would just use a plastic bag from a store and throw it in the dumpster. Kinda like what you would do with a dog.
However, In my snake room I have its own trash can and it has never made the room smell foul. When the snakes have freshly soiled their cage it does but not once its in the trash can.

I know baby wipes aren't flushable, but I just assumed paper towels would break down the same as toilet paper. Like I said though, im not positive. So yeah. Just throw them away. Like I do, and like these other guys do.

Maybe cheap paper towels. The nice ones like I buy are made for scrubbing and do not break apart easily with soap and water while cleaning household items so I don't think they would agree with most toilet systems.

Paper towels are chunkier and bulkier than toilet paper, even cheap ones. You shouldn't flush them, and you should especially not flush two or three sheets of them still stuck together.
Any trash can with a lid should keep your snake waste from smelling up the room.

I bought a few rolls of plastic dog bags from the dollar store and use them for the soiled paper towels.
