Wonderful looking animal!
Any background info?
I see some island action in there I think. She has great contrast and some unique patterning.
Different is good and I like what you have there.
Look into the threads here about feeding boa constrictors. I've added info here that I've taken from real experts.
Feed properly and you'll have a long lived incredible animal!
Have fun!!

Re: My first boa
Thanks very much, Gio! She definitely is special...
She was sold to me as a pastel jungle from Da Vinci Boas here in Tampa.
Funny you should mention it, I have been doing a ton of reading and lurking around regarding feeding and have found your posts (along with others) very helpful and informative! So thanks for that as well

i thought she might be Jungle! Congrats on a great snake - and by the way, i LOVE the pic of your daughter (i am assuming) with her. My phone is completely clogged with shots of my son holding Irwin. Its so inspiring to see how fearless kids are when raised without fear.

Re: My first boa
Thanks, dkatz! I was totally inspired by all the cute pictures you've posted of your little guy with your boa (yep, I am indeed a lurker). And I totally agree! It's so awesome to be able to nurture respect and curiosity about snakes and other animals. Plus you know they are gonna be the cool kids in school....

Glad you enjoyed them, i cant wait until my daughter is big enough to interact with the snake (she just shy of 4 months right now) But hey, you want to see cute? check out my feeding video - its mostly Irwin eating, though i think its a cool, or at least very unique feeding vid, but I tacked a little easter egg of the boy with the snek at the end
