Yea, they want $250 for the snake, or $350 with the enclosure. I think it was 300/400 but somebody asked the lowest they'd take. I'm tempted to go there to look at the animal and bring $320 and see if she'll take. While I do want one really bad, at the same time I want a Black White Lipped python more, because I can actually handle it.

Both are stunning!! If you want to handle your new companion, then I say hold out for the one you've had your heart set on, but you can't go wrong with the GTP either! That's not a bad price at all for the snake plus the enclosure (as far as I've seen anyway). All the one's I've encountered here run between $300-500 for just the snake.

I'll be sure to keep an updated progress log of photos going on this guy! Do you have an pictures of yours?

Thank you!!! I considered going the tub route, but got a set-up for a steal so decided to start with this and see how it works out. I'll have to upgrade tanks at some point, so tubs may be in my, and my snake's, future. Haha. I really love the ball pythons, but I'm also a huge fan of the green tree pythons. I had a hard time deciding between the two, but figured the ball was probably a better first snake, and couldn't be happier so far!!

My first snake, and ball python.

I haven't updated for a bit. Kaa is doing brilliantly! He didn't eat for about two weeks and then ate a hopper last week. I tried an adult mouse this week which he's currently attempting to shove down his throat (pics below). Here are some other recent pics. I'll try breaking out the good camera one of these days.
