First ever clutch - good and bad

Pastel DH x Pastel DH (Ellie x Scooter)
My first ever BP clutch! Very happy with this, didn't hit the combo though.
Ellie had a total of 9 eggs!


8 of which candled nicely like this one:


One didn't show any veins and was infertile:

First the bad - 2 ended up not making it out of the egg and died. Appeared fully formed, what looks to be a super pastel caramel (pictured) and super pastel.

Wow! Those pieds are fantastic!.. and forgive me but the pairing was Pastel "DH".. doesn't that mean double het? Does it mean something else?

yes, they are both het for pied and caramel

yeah, I'm really sad about those two little ones. Boyfriend told me to cut but I didn't want to, figuring they should be strong enough to get out if they are strong enough to make it. I do feel like it's partially my fault they died but nothing I can do about it now.

Yeah! I'm thrilled with these babies but I would have loved to hit some form (norm/pastel/super pastel) of the caramel pied.
