Have you ever seen this before?

My girlfriend noticed it first. It's like a slit mid belly. I never noticed when we first got her, but we noticed it last week. Seen anything like it?

Also while I was holding her to the this picture, right before she peed on me, I noticed some blood drops from her butt slit thing coming out (like she was pushing to poo/pee and kinda held it back in). It was literally like 20 seconds before she just released in my hand lol....

Is that normal? I was checking her cut I got the picture of and noticed very small amounts of blood around her bum.

Also is it a good sign she feels comfy enough to go potty in my hand? Or she really just had to go lol

    Thx.

You'll find that little line on every snakes belly because it's where the umbilical cord was attached. So your looking at a cute little snakey belly button I'm not too sure about the blood drops from the cloaca though.

Not sure about the blood, but they do just poop whenever they need to go LOL. More like they poo faster when they're just done getting exercise or freaking out. They're not so polite to hold it in when they're nervous. =P

Yeah the blood is kinda weird, but the line on the belly is just the snake's belly button. I haven't checked my other adult snakes, but the 6 year old boa I just got in still has his. All the little ones do.

She did! She had to have shed earlier that day or night before, because the 2 days ago she was foggy eyed n stuff then last night she was super clean, and I found the shed n stuff.
