    Charlie...Charlie (sung as Caillou)

Well, she's back on aspen and personally I think she prefers it but I don't know for sure. I got some new ideas from everyone about retaining humidity so thanks for that. She was so sweet when I took her out today. She even climbed my arm which was new. Also I didn't notice any scale rot. I now believe those were her markings which makes me feel stupid. But whatever. As long as she's healthy and happy I'm happy.

Also side note, is it weird that she doesn't always use her hide, but she'll go behind it? I think it's cute, like a personality quirk.

I wouldn't look at it as being her personality whatsoever. More of her just being what she is, a snake. And snakes focus on two things really. Food and TEMPERATURE gradients. .. my snakes get on top of their hides sometimes too, just to get off the direct warmth of the UTH. They need to change temperatures sometimes.

Their personality comes into play when they are crawling around on your arm and tickle you with their tongue. Or some just sit in a ball and don't move much. Personality difference. ... or when some let you pick them up whenever you wish and they never make a sound. And some will let out a cute little hiss sometimes saying "I don't wanna be bothered today" ( my Mojave) lol. Personality difference.
