The most sure way to know what you're getting is legit is to buy from a reputable breeder. Spark is one of those genes that is very hard to distinguish from yellowbelly; even pro breeders have a hard time telling sparks from their yellowbelly siblings in the same clutch.
It's very very easy for someone to scam you with a pair of yellowbellies, telling you they're something else, and in fact it's happened quite a bit since yellowbelly complex genes (like specter and gravel) blew up.
Not saying to assume the guy is scamming you; I'm just saying you likely wouldn't know if you were being scammed or not, not until you breed them at least. I'd do a BOI search on the person and if it comes up clean, ask lots of questions (who produced the pair, has he bred them before, how old are they, if you can get a pedigree/guarantee of genetics, etc) before proceeding with caution.
