My feeding goes like this:
(My ball was fed live before I got her all her life and I got her on frozen.)

1.) Put prey in cold water 30 mins
2.) Pour chicken broth in glass bowl (comes into play later)
3.) Put prey still in bag in broth, and put both under heating lamp for 10 minutes
4.) Take out bowl and set near feeding area
5.) Remove prey from bag, (And this is optional, but I usually will crack the skull to expose the brain a tad bit to entice her more) and put back under lamp, for 2-4 mins depending on size
6.) Dip feeding tong ends (the side you hold the prey with) in warm broth
7.) Feed prey to snake

It's worked for me everytime
