Interesting, my adult male banana doesn't have them.

So I just got a call from the store I bought him from.

Apparently it's a lavendar albino banana that the owners daughter had purchased for $1,200 but hadn't marked as not for sale.

They said I can keep him since it was their fault but I feel really bad! At the same time there's no way I'm giving it back lol!

I can tell you with 100% confidence that it is not a lavender albino banana. It reminds me of a pewter banana actually but I could be wrong. The pattern is reminicent of a pewter.

Yeah I didn't think so, seems very unlikely. I'm just gonna have to breed him.

yeah, not an Albino/Lavender Albino. if it were, it would look just like an Albino/Lavender Albino and there would not be an freckles as the Albino eliminates black and turns colors yellow. it could possibly be het for Albino.

Better pic of his colors. In that case I'm still guessing banana mojo.. can't wait till hes big enough to breed! He looks kinda faded in places, like his pattern was erased a little!

Also I forgot to mention that his belly is pretty dark. I've never owned one this young before so I'm not sure if that's just a hatchling thing but instead of the white or cream that I'm used to its like a mauvey grayish pink. (Hss not in shed)

Of course on camera it doesn't show up as well but here's what I got. It's not as splotchy as it looks here, all one even color. Plus cute blurry snoot!
