    Almost joined the bite club last night...

    I was doing my weekly tub cleaning/water change last night and was pleased to see that almost everyone has had a good shed in the last week.

    When I got to Toph the champagne, as soon as I slid open her tub she was in strike position. This isn't the first time she's done this but I'm always cautious with her because she is our moodiest snake. I gave her her space and started to lift her empty water bowl out and BAM! She went right for my hand! If her aim wasn't so terrible (usually takes her 2 or 3 times to get her mouse) I would have had some neat little bite wounds to show off. I'm really hoping she eventually mellows out, but I still appreciate her feistiness!

    I joined the bite club thanks to my much missed flicker the corn snake, she was so greedy that the one time I dropped her dinner she bit me. Taught me to never drop her food again.

    I also like complimentary jackets. I'm sure between my moody Toph and Zuko and my overly enthusiastic feeder Azula I will be joining this club sooner rather than later. Tomorrow is feeding day after all...
