If you can afford it get a high end thermostat like a spyder robotics Herpstat, depending on how many snakes you have they have different models that can control 1, 2, 4, 6 setups and range $100-$440 and I personally wouldn't get any model lower than the Herpstat 1 bc of the safety features. Then there is the reptile basics ve-200 for $115 but you would need 1 for each setup or the ve-300x2 for $200 that control 2 different setups. Cheaper ones from amazon like the inkbird itc-308 run around $30-$40 which you will need to buy 1 for each setup as well. Any reptile heating device needs to be regulated no matter what species your keeping. Also like I said those zoo med probe thermometers are usually really inaccurate, at least all the ones I've used, so I recommend either getting an acurite 00891 for each setup which are $12 each or a reliable temp gun.
