    Re: New snake arrival and feeding.

    I know it's usually recommended to let them settle in for a week but the last 2 I've bought I fed the day after I got them and they both ate. I wait until the snake has ate 4 or 5 times consistently before handling. When your ready to handle you should wait 48 hrs after feeding. You should feed what the breeder was offering until it has ate consistently and then try switching to f/t rat pups. If the breeder was feeding live you may have to start with live pups and work your way to f/t, some switch easy and some take time.
