Any ideas on that super light dorsal stripe on the banana? Not a mojave or banana trait?

I mean, as I said I'd lie if I wasn't considering it. Especially since I want to pick up a female banana to put with my paradox boy at some point anyway, but I'm just not totally sure if the fairness of her coloring is due to genetics or quality.

maybe it's a Banana Mojo Hypo. i've seen Hypo's with whitish dorsals and that would explain the light colors and blushing.

buy it and prove it out!

At $350 since it's a Banana Mojave and a female you should jump on it, my local petsmart has a champagne banana listed as banana for $350.

    What do you mean?

Oh man, I am so conflicted. I just don't want to buy a low quality animal thinking that it's because of genes you know?

It looks to me that someone has supplied a chain store with some good stock and they don't know what they have so I am going to go shopping and see if my locals have anything I cannot live without.

So, I am saying, with the opinions you have gotten on that banana and if you have the cash it looks like a really good deal. I really doubt you will know with 100% certainty what it is though.

Well, so I actually messaged Justin Kobylka and asked him what he thought. He suggested that it looked kind of like a banana pewter, and so I looked into it. Here is an example of that combo that I found online and if it isn't the closest I've seen then I don't know what is.
Which also explains the paleness of color, and also the light dorsal stripe. In any case, I think I'm going to likely follow the advice from this thread and pick her up before someone else does. $350 for a possibly three gene female banana? Yes please.

Good lord in the UK, you can't find a banana female single gene for under £1500 ish ($2191) and upwards dependant on breeder. That one you see is the equivalent of £240, I would be buy in it if I were there lokl xx

Whoa! You know, some breeders from the USA ship internationally, that would be a way that you could find one for much less than the UK price if you really wanted one.
