Re: Past her due date!
My biggest gripe with the various books out there is the snakes never seem to have read them.

The first egg doesn't appear too close to the cloaca (maybe a couple inches away and she is ~1500 grams).
What I am looking for is restlessness obvious sign of discomfort, unusual swelling, first egg that is near the vent ready to be laid but that doesn’t.

Re: Past her due date!
My girl seems hungry, and I fed some of my others the other night and she was all over the place expecting food. If she's overdue to lay and still has the eggs would it be a bad plan to feed her? I'd give her a small rat probably instead of the normal size. If it would be fine I want to feed her, but if it could make things worse I obviously don't want to do that.

Re: Past her due date!
Mine was acting like she was starving probably three nights before she finally laid. I offered her a rat and she wouldn't take it.

You can try but I really doubt she will eat. This is most likely the restlessness that was mentioned above.

when palpating my female I feel 3 little bumps right next to the vent and her tail is on the inside of the coil. Does that mean she's ready to lay?

Re: Past her due date!
Sounds like it, leave her alone for a bit, she should go soon.
