Clutch #7
The seventh clutch was laid by this Lemonblast female.
She laid 7 good eggs, and she was only paired with Pastel Acids.
There's 4 new combos that could hatch from this clutch.
Come on Acid Blast!!!!

Re: Acid Clutches of 2016
Very impressive gene is the acid. I have seen it before but have not it in these projects. Is it feasible to produce supers? Have you thought about how supers would play into your projects? If at all.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

Thanks Dave, likewise.. I'm as excited about your season, as I am about my own. Really looking forward to seeing another King.

Thanks Albert, the first chance I'll have at producing a Super Acid will be 2017. I haven't put much thought into it, I don't want to get my hopes up.

Unfortunately.. I did not pair any Acids with Leopards or GHIs this year. That'll have to be next year.
All of the 30 females that have ovulated were not paired with Acids, less than half of them could be producing Acids.
Still very exciting though.

Fantastic pairings, Josh. I love hearing the Acid story and then seeing it come to life through pictures. Can't wait to see what crawls out of those pearly whites!
PS - Obviously, Pastel Acid x Lemonblast had to be done if for no other reason than to produce an animal called the Acid Blast.
Edit: PSS - Any plans for a joint project with Chris and iBalls? Acid Rain anyone?

Thank you Eric, this should be the year we really get to see what this gene has to offer. The last 2 girls are ovulating today, a Lesser that was paired with a GHI het.Red, and a Pastel Lesser Calico that was paired with a Pastel Acid. It looks like 30 girls are going to lay within 70 days of each other.
I paired Pastel Acids with a Clown, a Lemonblast, a Pastel Lesser Calico, a YB, an Enchi, a Fire, and an Enchi Firefly.
I paired Acids with a Mystic, a Pastel Mystic, a Lesser, and couple other suprises for later. I also paired both Pastel Acids and Acids to a Pin and a Spotnose, I think Acid Spotnose will be a good one.
Let's see if I can start this year off with an Albino Acid and finish it with a Super Pastel Acid Lesser Calico. Honestly, I'd be happy with an Acid Calico.
As far as an Acid Rain, it'll happen...
