Subjective but it's hard to beat a nice normal corn snake as far as color intensity and contrast go - even got it going on with those checkered ventrals.
x2, I love the rich orange of normal corns. Womas and olive pythons look great too.
Woma python. Look cool and are easier than ball pythons to keep.
If you want something a little more challenging, green tree pythons are beautiful and can be as tame as bp's if you get the right local.

Would most of these be available at a small show? Repticon isn't that big here. I've only been once and didn't get a good look at all the snakes. My ball claimed me pretty early in the day so I didn't seriously look at any others. I know there were some GTPs, corns, and boas.

I went to a small expo this morning and they had a surprising variety of snakes besides balls, boas and corns. I saw a few house snakes, bloods and olive pythons. Keep your eyes peeled
