Im really enjoying Boas recently. The nicaraguans have some cool morphs, Ive got an anery and a pewter, and I just picked up an absolutely gorgeous suriname male boa that will get about your size range, maybe a little larger.

Couldn't agree more with rainbow Boas. The combians are going to take over with the rainbow boa game once they discover another morph or two

Personally, I don't really like womas or bhp's because of their kind of stubby rounded head shape but thats just me. They're definitely cool animals in their own right. What I find appealing about different kinds of snakes is the head shape more than the color which might sound kind of weird but thats just what I like.

Ultimately you should just get whatever you will enjoy. Most snakes are easy enough to care for once you have the basic principles down.
