generally signs for an upcoming shed will be:
belly has pink tone
colors dull all over
eyes go blue (cloudy as you refer to it) this is called being in blue
within a few days BP will be out rubbing on rough surface to peel shed, allow them to do so then clean the tank.

overall around a 2 week process, give or take a few days.

Thank you so much! I did a lot of research on housing a ball python and always meant to look up the shedding process, this was very helpful because I noticed he had fading scales and a pink belly and I was really scared that he was going to die or something so thank you 😆
