    Update - just ordered a AP T12.

Great minds think alike. Now I have to upgrade my enclosure . Did you go with the RHP for your heat source?

I will go with RHPs. Since I will use the divider for a while I will need two. 40 watts each sufficient you think?

That was my exact dilemma too T. I was starting 2 carpets in a divided enclosure. I think you'll need at least an 80w RHP to heat the enclosure once Shag is in it by himself. So investing in two 40w RHPs may not be the best move if you can't use them both later. You'll also have to dismount and remount at least one of them which isn't too big of a deal. Two 80w units seems like overkill but maybe one 80w and one 40w could work. Will a 40w be enough for the 2nd occupant when they move? That's such a tough choice. I'm curious to see how you play this one.

Getting 2 80 watt RHPs is a good idea. That way when it's time to pull the divider I can then use one of the RHPs in another T12 because as you know I'm going to need it.

Nice touch T. Top notch animals and good equipment. That's the way to go. Now you can sit back enjoy the show and watch them grow.

Thanks and I am ready to sit back and enjoy. All of my bunch are young and small so it will be really fun to watch them grow into adults.
