I have a question! In my head I thought it was the right one, but I wasn't sure why? I just had a feeling. Can you explain what it is about her that makes it obvious? They both have the train track type markings so why does the right one seem more het pied than the other?

I'll give my opinion if it's ok with Asherah? It is that pied markers is something that we look for but those markers are not a definitive way to identify het pied animals. The reasoning is some true het pieds won't necessarily have "pied markers" and some normals that aren't true het pieds can have markers. The real definitive way to determine a true het is to breed it to another het pied or visual pied. On top of that, it is the word of a truly honest breeder or a reputable breeder or both. And also, the pied gene has a distorting effect on patterning.

Albert did an excellent job explaining it. I don't have anything to add to it, other than this is a good example of why het markers aren't always conclusive.
